About the course

Forklifts are essential tools in many industries, but improper operation or a lack of awareness can lead to serious injuries and fatalities. According to NIOSH, nearly 100 workers are killed and 20,000 seriously injured each year in forklift-related incidents. The leading causes of these incidents include tip-overs, workers being struck or crushed, and falls from forklifts. This course aims to:  - Reduce the risk of injuries and deaths by equipping you with essential safety knowledge.  - Promote compliance with OSHA regulations and ANSI/ITSDF safety standards.  - Address common hazards such as vehicle instability, visibility issues, and unsafe behaviors.
